XT Energy was set up in the city of Xianning, China, in 2008. The company is now among the world’s leading producers of compressed-air energy storage capacities, using their own patent-protected CAES technology and specially built cavern storage capacities. We also have plants to manufacture photovoltaic panels.

Services to reduce emissions
Since 2014 XT Energy has been engaged in developing projects to lessen the adverse impact on the environment with the intention of countering the greenhouse effect caused by emissions of toxic substances into the atmosphere. We are making our contribution to address the common problem of environmental pollution, which is especially serious in China. For instance, in 2016 fine particulate matter concentration levels in the provinces of Henan and Hebei were on average as high as 500 μg/m3, a catastrophic figure as against the WHO norm of 25 μg/m3. Providing services to companies operating in the power industry, we tailor our solutions to meet the specific targets set in each particular case. When undertaking a project, our experts carry out research into the production area in order to determine the extent of the equipment wear, overconsumption and pollution load and come up with the most efficient methods to reduce toxic emissions. Over the years in this field, we have developed projects for more than 15 companies.
